The second annual University of Alaska Fairbanks Really Free Market will be held from Saturday in the Patty Center parking lot on campus.The market offers a venue for people to give away items that are no longer wanted but that are still usable. The market organizers ask people to offer only clean and safe items. No bartering or selling is allowed.
Items can be dropped off beginning at 8 a.m.. Browsing begins at 10 a.m. The market closes at 2 p.m.
Interior Alaska GreenStar is sponsoring the event, which coincides with GreenStar’s annual Recycling Round-Up from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Tanana Valley State Fairgrounds parking lot.
A second Really Free Market is scheduled for Aug. 14.
